Siberia is not only famous as an area with a very wide nature .....
In addition, Siberia also has extraordinary energy resources,
most of Russia's crude oil and natural gas come from western Siberia,
which covers more than 2 million km2, so that Russia is one of the
largest natural gas exporters in the world thanks to its Siberian region .....
Siberia also has Lake Bikal thanks to its vast territory, which is the
largest freshwater lake in the world which stores about 20% of the world's clean water reserves .....
Lake Baikal is also the deepest lake in the world with a depth of up to 1642 meters
and has around 330 rivers that drain water into it .....
because of its large size Lake Baikal is often referred to as the Baikal sea
which is attractive every winter This lake will freeze and form a layer of
ice as thick as 2 meters in some places .....
Meanwhile in summer storms will form waves as high as 4, 5 meters .....
Siberia is synonymous with very cold temperatures
in winter temperatures in Siberia can drop to minus 70 degrees Celsius .....
in winter heavy snowfall is commonplace in Siberia .....
in a city in Siberia snow can be up to 30 cm in diameter
in other parts of Siberia there is a type of snowfall called diamond dust which is
snow in the form of very thin needles ..... which is unique some Siberians can
tell the temperature based on the squeaking sound that arises when snow is stepped on .....
even though it is famous as a region with very cold temperatures, it is estimated that humans
have lived in Siberia
since 125,000 years ago and have survived until now.
